6th August to 9th August
Our route takes in some fantastic scenery but gives you enough time to take it in along the way as well as stop when the mood takes you.
We will post details of the ferry and the route we will be taking to our start point so anyone who wishes can meet up on the way.
Once at our start point we will register competitors and check documents at the start point the afternoon before we start the rally. A relaxed evening of getting to know your fellow competitors over a few drinks is always a nice start to the event.
Day One – 6th august
Nurburgring to Lake Constance – approx 300 miles
A leisurely start to the day so anyone suffering from the night before is fully recovered and then we get straight into action!
We shall be kick starting the day and the rally off with an appearance at the Nurburgring, giving you the opportunity to take your cars around the world famous track. Of course for those who wish to take a slightly more sedate pace or fear their car may not be up to it, you can sit back and watch the action unfold, take bets on our rally participants lap times or admire the array of cars that attend the track.
Our journey from here travels south through Germany past Stuttgart where you can take a small detour to visit the Porsche museum then on to our destination for the evening, the amazingly beautiful Lake Constance.
Day Two – 7th August
Lake Constance to Bormio, Italy – approx 160 miles
Today we go through the Alps to our destination of Bormio in Italy, with a quick trip through Liechtenstein to cross off another country. This may seem like very little but today will be the start of the alpine roads here to test your battle weary bangers. Once the official start takes place in the morning those who wish to can take in the amazing location of Lake Constance and try out some of the many activities on offer here. Bordered by 3 countries and covering almost 220 square miles this is a superb place but don’t forget the alpine roads are calling and so is Italy.
Day Three – 8th August
Bormio to Salzburg – approx 230 miles
The ‘Stelvio Pass’ in Italy climbs to 2757m above sea level and will test both your car and your nerves, but will reward you with some of the most breathtaking scenery in Europe. One of the all time top 10 driving road in the world with 60 hairpin turns to negotiate through the ‘Stelvio National Park’ this is one road you will always remember conquering.
After the ‘Stelvio Pass’ we carry on through the mountain roads and up to the Autobahn for a blast across to Salzburg to finish off the journey for today.
Day Four – 9th August
Salzburg to Prague – approx 220 miles
After conquering the ‘Stelvio Pass’ you may be tempted to have celebrated your achievement in Salzburg, but today we have a final push to the finish line in Prague.
Today is all about the finish and will see you coaxing your beaten up bangers along the final leg, crossing the border into the Czech Republic and across to the capital city for the finishing party.
